Standard Raffle: Players receive one half of the double stubbed tickets. The other half is placed in a raffle drum/tin by the dealers. The drum/tin is turned over to the host/hostess or DJ to raffle off any prizes the host/hostess is providing.
Chinese Raffle: The prizes are placed on a table with a box or bowl in front of each prize. The players are given both halves of the double stubbed tickets. The players then place one
ticket half in whatever prizes they are interested in. They keep the other half of the ticket. Players may put all their tickets in one box or spread them around amongst the different prizes.
Auction: At the end of the night the dealers write down on a bid card the amount that a player has won during the night. The prizes are then auctioned off. A player may bid up to the amount on his/ her bid card. If there is any residual money left over after the bid the player may bid on
another prize up to the remaining amount left on his card.

The typical casino party is 4 hours long. Delivery of equipment is usually about 2 hours prior to the event depending upon the number of events scheduled on that night. Payment is made at this time unless other
arrangements have been made. Event may be delivered early and picked up that night or the next day with permission from the client. The delivery person may stay and deal at the event after he/she has set up. Dealers arrive just before the event starts. The delivery person provides play money to the host/hostess who passes the money out to the guests as they arrive. For fundraisers guests usually receive $100-200. For private events guests normally receive $1000. When guests
are ready to play they take their play money to the casino tables where the dealer converts the play money to chips. If the guest doesn't play at the tables the play money they received at the start of the night can still be cashed in at the end of the event. At fundraisers, as guests run out of money, they may get more money by making additional donations to the charity, for example $100 in play money for a $5 donation. The charity may also want to run blue light specials once or twice
during the night where for a $15 or $20 donation a player can get $500 in play money. The dealers will deal for 3 hours and 45 minutes (they will also take a break for 15 minutes sometime during the event). At the end of that time the dealers will receive double stubbed raffle tickets from the pit boss or lead dealer. They will then spend the last 15 minutes converting the player's chips and/or unused play money to raffle tickets based on a determined cash-in ratio (e.g. 1 ticket for
every $250 if they start with $1000).
Top Money Winners: Sometimes prizes are awarded to the top three (or more) money winners at the tables. This may work at smaller functions. However, at larger events couples usually combine their money giving them an advantage over singles. Also, if someone doesn't have enough money to win anything, he/she may give his/her money to a friend. In the end it is usually not the top money winner who wins the prize but the
person who has the most friends at the event. Therefore, the real top money winner usually feels rightfully slighted and complains about this method.
After cashing in the player's chips and/or unused play money for raffle tickets, the dealers then straighten up their chip trays, receive their paycheck from the pit boss/lead dealer and the exit the premises. Occasionally, they may receive tips from the host/hostess at this time.
The delivery person/dealer will start breaking down
the tables immediately after the event if it does not interfere with the raffle or the guests leaving. Otherwise he/she will wait until a more appropriate moment.
